Find your cadence. Balance your books. Grow with clarity.

We're not just recording history. We're helping you navigate what's next.

Who We Help

You’re an incorporated business that has outgrown your current bookkeeping setup — and know it.

You are an owner who has built something real: a trades company with a growing crew, a forestry or engineering operation juggling multiple contracts, a service business that's no longer small. Revenue is moving, the work is there, and the books have become a problem — not because nobody's doing them, but because what's being done isn't giving you useful information.

You’re not looking for just data entry. You’re looking for financial clarity.

The Gap We Fill

Most growing businesses are stuck between two options that don't quite fit.

A part-time bookkeeper enters transactions and keeps the CRA happy. A full-time CFO costs $200K+ and is more than most businesses at this stage need. In between those two options — the place where most growing businesses actually live — there isn't much.

That's exactly where we work.

We function as an outsourced controller for businesses in the $500K–$5M range: accurate entry, monthly close, job costing, financial reporting, and the kind of proactive insight that helps you make decisions with confidence. You get the financial intelligence of a seasoned finance professional without the overhead of a full-time hire.

Who We Work With

We work best with business owners who care about running a solid operation and want to understand their numbers, not ignore them. Our clients include professional service firms and project-based businesses such as lawyers, consultants, marketing agencies, engineers, and trades-based companies.

These businesses are typically growing and busy. They may have admin support in place, but rely on us for higher-level bookkeeping, financial reporting, and insight. If you value clarity, thoughtful questions, and a proactive approach to your finances, we are likely a good fit.

About Meagan

Hi, I'm Meagan, Co-Founder & Bookkeeper.

I partner with business owners to untangle their books, stay on top of deadlines and make sense of their financial data - so they can focus on the work that matters most.

Over time, I’ve learned that bookkeeping isn’t just about crunching numbers — it’s about rhythm. When your books follow a steady cadence, everything in your business flows better.

That’s where the name Cadence comes in. As a passionate mountain biker, I know that good cadence — the steady, efficient rhythm of pedaling — is what keeps you moving forward, especially on tough climbs. I bring that same mindset to bookkeeping: consistent, clear, and built to help you keep your momentum.

About Glynnis

Hi, I’m Glynnis, Co-Founder & Bookkeeper of Cadence Bookkeeping Solutions. Together with Meagan, I started Cadence because we believe every small business deserves peace of mind when it comes to their finances.

I’ve lived in mountain communities my whole life—growing up in Jasper and now calling Golden home for the past eight years. While finishing my Commerce degree in accounting, I continue to build my expertise and apply that knowledge directly in my work every day.

I’ve been self-employed as a bookkeeper for five years and have over a decade of experience supporting small businesses in financial and administrative roles.

Living and working in these communities has taught me the value of genuine relationships, hard work, and supporting local businesses. My goal is to make your numbers clear, your books stress-free, and your decisions easier—so you can stay focused on the work you love.
